It looks like there is quite a bit on the horizon for foodies in Springfield, Missouri!

• A  HuHot Mongolian Grill is going into the former J. Buck’s location in the Battlefield Mall.

• Minsky’s Pizza is slated to open in the Battlefield Marketplace. It will occupy the space that formerly housed Kaldi’s Coffee. Minsky’s Pizza is popular in the Kansas City area.
• Jimm’s Steakhouse & Pub will soon open in the old Steak and Ale on South Glenstone
• Another sushi place will be opening soon in the former Taco Bueno, also on South Glenstone, next to Red Lobster.
• Amigos Mexican Restaurant, on South Campbell, has opened a second location in Nixa. It is in the former Cadillac Jack’s spot on Main Street.
• Harter House is expanding into Nixa.
• Parlor 88 appears to be in the process of opening a second location on East Sunshine, near Highway 65.
• The Springfield News-Leader has a new user-friendly restaurant inspection tool. You can easily find out information about county health inspections of your favorite restaurants. It also includes the 10 establishments with the highest number of violations for the last 30 days.
